Gallery Hour · last updated 4 November 2026
The short version
Everything you put into Gallery Hour stays on your phone. We don't have accounts, we don't run ads, and we don't sell or share anything about you.
What stays on your phone
- Your first name and the time you want your card.
- The days you tapped "I did it", the cards you kept, and your Sunday check-ins.
- Recordings of you saying your line. They never leave your phone.
- Your morning reminders, which your phone schedules itself.
Purchases
If you buy Gallery Hour Plus in the iPhone app, Apple handles the payment. When Plus opens on the web, Stripe handles the payment. We only learn whether Plus is active; we never see your card details.
Test versions
During small test programs, a test version of the web app may send anonymous usage events (for example "opened today's card" or "did today's step") with a random number instead of your name. We use them only to learn whether the daily ritual helps. If you're in a test, we'll tell you first.
The paintings
Every painting comes from the open-access collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cleveland Museum of Art and is in the public domain. Each card shows where the painting hangs and links to the museum's page.
Where the site lives
The site and the web app are served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare sees the address of a page you open, like any web host, and keeps no account for you.
